Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hybrid Position (3 days/week in Toronto).

What will your day look like?

As our new Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our daily operations and implementation of client campaigns, ensuring the continuous development of staff and operation services. More specifically, your tasks include:

  • Overseeing the team's daily operation and workload distribution
  • Ensuring delivery on client commitments as outlined in any Service Level Agreements, and compliance with any other client requirements
  • People management, development and supporting recruitment efforts
  • Leading initiatives to improve internal processes and systems
  • Inspiring and keeping team motivated to deliver their best work
  • Reporting on progress and development for internal and external stakeholders
  • Defining and executing strategies to deliver on company objectives and goals
  • Proactive risk management and mitigation efforts

Since we operate in a global environment with global clients covering multiple time zones, we expect you to be flexible with a can-do attitude.

Who are you going to work with?

Our Toronto office is currently made up of 82 employees and growing! You will be managing a specialized marketing operations team, and operate as the link between our various in-house departments and centers to ensure deliver on agreed upon scopes.

We work closely together with our colleagues in Copenhagen (HQ) as well as our other 3 office locations in San Jose (Costa Rica), Bangkok, and Lisbon. You will play a crucial part in working closely with your operations team, and report directly to the Operations Director. Further, we expect that you have:

  • Demonstrated success in operational execution and process improvement.
  • Track record of success in building and leading effective teams, fostering talent development and strategically managing resources to achieve operational excellence.
  • Highly collaborative, driven by a strong desire to continuously improve and deliver high quality.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to provide straightforward directions as well as inspire a team.

In addition, it would be great if you have:

  • Proven experience conducting root cause analysis, managing incidents, and implementing preventative measures.
  • Ability and experience using data to inform decision-making, such as selecting appropriate KPIs for measurement.
  • Successfully implemented performance management strategies to drive team growth and achievement.
  • Proven ability to establish and nurture strong working relationships, preferably in a global context.  
  • Experience in marketing operations, personalization/automation, process improvement, or project management is desired.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools like Salesforce or Adobe Campaign is a plus.
